    What is an

    Embodiment Practice?

A practice that uses the body as a tool for healing through self-awareness, mindfulness, connection, self-regulation, finding balance, and creating self-acceptance. Embodiment explores the relationship between our physical being and our energy.

Some examples of embodiment practices we will be exploring together are dancing, shaking, breathwork, autogenics, biofeedback, tapping, & yoga.

    Overview

    Why join Embodied Medicine?

Something magical happens when women are in circle.

    Embrace Self Connection

Embodiment practices offer a transformative space where you can re-establish a profound connection with your own body. In a world that often encourages disconnection and self-criticism, these circles provide a nurturing environment for you to explore, honor, and reclaim your bodily experiences. Through guided practices and shared experiences, you'll gradually learn to listen to your body's cues, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-acceptance that you might have been missing.

    Foster Healing Community

Joining a circle of like-minded women who share similar struggles can be remarkably healing. By gathering in a safe and non-judgmental setting, you'll discover that you're not alone in your feelings of isolation. The power of community support goes beyond words – it's a deep-seated understanding that comes from shared experiences. Engaging in embodiment practices together creates a profound sense of unity, where you can exchange stories, advice, and encouragement, fostering healing and promoting personal growth.

    Reclaim Authenticity

Modern life often compels women to conform to societal norms and expectations, leading to a disconnect from our true selves. Sitting in a circle of women allows you to break free from these constraints and embrace your authentic self. The collective energy of the circle uplifts and empowers each participant, creating a space where vulnerability is celebrated and uniqueness is honored. Through open sharing and witnessing, you'll gain the courage to express your genuine feelings and thoughts, rebuilding your connection to your body and rekindling a sense of belonging within your community.

    You are powerful beyond measure.

Remember, the power of women's circles lies in their ability to bring disconnected individuals together, creating a space where healing, empowerment, and a renewed sense of self can flourish.

Through shared experiences and open communication, you'll find the courage to express yourself genuinely, allowing you to rediscover your unique identity and cultivate a deeper sense of self-worth.

The Breathing Teacher hosted two delightful sound bowl sessions for me. Both were intuitively exactly what I needed without me having to tell her what I was looking for in this ancient healing practice. I felt more connected to myself, understood and at ease for the remainder of my week.
    -Brooklyn
Jadine is extremely knowledgeable regarding breath and the nervous system.  Her workshops and sound baths have been transformative for myself and my relationship with my trauma responses. They have also helped me to improve personal relationships in my own life and understand they why behind behaviors.
